1974 911 stock seatbelt question

Can someone post a picture of how/where the stock seatbelt reel mounts on a mid-year g body? I’m putting stock belts back into a car that had been fitted with 5-pt harnesses and only see one anchor point, but i believe that’s where the end opposite the reel will mount. Probably pretty obvious if I can see an installed example, just don’t have one here to compare to.

These worked on my 66

I can’t find a good photo of the third but will keep looking. It is on the side of the tunnel

I don’t have a photo readily available as I’m at work, but the reel is mounted just in front of the rear wheel well with the belt exiting through the rear interior quarter panel, which I assume you do not have.

Thanks for those replies, both are helpful

Correct, no interior panel, just what I’m guessing is an RS carpet kit. There’s also a roll bar but it’s installed so that I can still access the stock seat belt mounting point on the pillar. I’ll start peeling back the carpet and look for an anchor point for the reel on the forward part of the wheel well

Is it correct that no part of the original belts mount to the seat itself?

Correct - nothing mounts to the seat. I've got a Targa so this may be a bit different for the coupe.

The reel mounts to the side in front of the rear wheel well, about ~14" above the floor. It anchors on the door sill about where your hip resides in the seat. There are tabs just behind the e-brake lever for the floor-mount latches.

Please bear in mind that the orientation of the seat belt can't change. If your factory belt is mounted vertically than that is your only option. Internal to the seat belt is a pendulum and if the orientation is changed it may not work.
