As long as we're wondering where people are...

Anybody heard from Leland Pate lately?

Sure are, Paul. The dudes who hang out there, probably know the kid who Armor-All'ed his treads one rainy night, long ago...

I've seen more and more new Zs on the road lately, and they are looking less and less attractive. By contrast I still like the look of TTs, and 996s are growing on me.

I believe the dude with the Altezza wanted to make sure the "tires were jet fockin black", so he armor-alled them on the treads. It then looked "hella sweet" (a new favouritest phrase of mine ).

Unsurprisingly, he crashed on a wet road shortly afterwards. Moron.

I think last time you used that phrase I commented that indeed Hella lights are sweet.

Just continuing to point out how old and out of touch I am. Although I found an interesting advantage to my graying hair. I played a pickup basket ball game at the local playground and the homies took it easy on the old guy. And this morning in the lineup none of the gremmies cut me off. I think it might be the new goatee though...HA!

Todd, you mean sweet like as in candy? Why are you licking lights! Pervert!

Last time I played basketball with the homies - the lights went out and didn't immediately come back on. They all turned to me and asked if I had a key to the office.

I guess as the oldest white guy out there - I must have a key to turn the lights on! Maybe there's a universal key somewhere.

Anyway - it struck me as funny.

Sorry I'm not a cunning linguist...

ha...thanks for making my morning nostatic.

Somehow I dont think that Mr. Pate will be able to find a forum with as much class as this one(aside from the occasional alcohol induced slip of the tongue ). I would be willing to bet that he will be back in the near future, with or without a porsche. I'm sure he would be quite welcome either way.

That is one of my all time favorite stories. ROFL. I still tell people about it.

He Armour-all'ed his tires then turned off the traction control on daddy's Lexus in the middle of a rain storm. Then, he wondered if he could sue the tire company because the tires lost grip. Darwin was right.

The tire's must have looked bling-bling though.

Anyone remember where that was? I should have bookmarked it.

Just search for "hella sweet" and "jet fockin black". Should come up then.

Every time the sheep jokes come, I try and find this one picture someone had photoshopped to modify one of the "sheep crossing" signs to show a farmer committing an act which looks like it needs velcro gloves to achieve.

But I can never find it! Use your imagination!
