'86 Carrera door sag
I have to shut my door pretty hard to get it to latch completely. I suspect it is because of a little bit of sag; when I open the door and lift it there is a very small amount of play. Any way to remedy this?

If it has up and down movement, the hinge bushings need replaced.

I just completed this job about a month ago. I took videos and pictures (not enough and not great quality) but haven’t put together in a cohesive presentation yet. Was planning to just make a YouTube video and embed everything with notations, but not an expert at that kind of activity.
I have done a number of relatively complex projects on my 911, including full engine rebuild. This, as John Walker implies, is not a walk in the park. Definitely has tips and tricks associated, with some even beyond what are currently in the forums. Maybe I’ll try to work on video or a post this weekend. Mark
