anyone know car shoppe Porsche? CA

Hi everyone, I am looking for a nice 89 930 and I see Car Shoppe Porsche has one available. Is anyone familiar with this firm or the contact person Deedy Loftus?
The firm is in Paso Robles, CA 3,000 miles away. I called the number and get an answering machine but the message just gives the number dialed, no business name. Kinda makes me suspicious. Thanks in advance for any help.

Paso Robles is certainly not where I would look for a credible Porsche shop/retailer. It is a small ex-farm town in central Ca, though it is growing as their winerys bring people in. Never heard of the particular shop you mention, though I am a couple hours away.

Dallas,

Funny, I just found a car online I was interested in at Car Shoppe. I thought about calling them, but decided that its not worth the risk buying a nice car from one of these places. After my weird experience with Car Gallerie, I've decided that I will only call private parties.

you would be suprised about paso robles, yes its a cowtown but there are some rich cow folk down there. i used to work for CDF and worked with a guy that grew up down there and there was some $ down there. it aint that far from san luis obisbo, give it a chance. i have never heard of the dealer but had to speak up a bit for the town. would i live there,, no,, would i buy a car from there, hell yes if the car checked out. its california, so you wont find a bunch of rust buckets like you might elsewhere...
