Brake booster help - pin fell off?

I removed the booster and master cylinder from my 1979 911 SC in order to replace the master cylinder.

While out, I cleaned the booster and will be painting it.

The push rod that goes into the master cylinder has some wiggle and play to it. It can spin. Is this normal?

While taping the booster for paint, the pin at the front of the push rod fell off! Fortunately I did not lose it. There is a small washer that I assume was behind it.

Do I need to use any adhesive to reattach?

Anyone have a parts diagram?

Thanks in advance!

I put my glasses on and inspected the pin. It male end can be spread to create a friction fit with the female end of the push rod on the booster. That answer that question. I'll dab some adhesive in there as well.

I'm still wondering how much play is normal in the booster push rod itself.
