Car makes it for final finish!!!

In my spare time, I've been helping my bro assemble his car, an 87 911 coupe. It was stripped to the tub and reassembled to do clubracing. Well, its almost done. It is off to the paint shop for fit and finish of bumpers, doors, and wing. Too much stuff done on it to try to place here. I'll just post some pics. (aren't they worth a thousand words? )

Thanks to guys like Bill Verburg and Wil Ferch (Got the ride height right the first time (15deg!), and all other that answered questions.

Dayumn! That thing is beautiful, now lets see some pix/specs on the motor you're putting in there. If it looks anything like yours, we're in for a treat.

Fikse fm5's 8 and 9 with 225 and 255 tires. An easy fit for this style car with absoulutely no interferences. The engine is all done with all the mod's needed for making the car race ready. The G50 has been torn apart, steely synchros placed. The bumpers are a front splitter with a center mounted oil cooler, the rear is a one piece glass unit. The tail is a 3.8 style RS wing with a carbon fiber top. RS Carpet kit. Stable Energies full cage and fire suppression. Brembo big red. ETC, ETC, ETC. Without the doors, bumpers, engine, transmission and glass in it, the car must weigh less then 1500 lbs. We pushed it up the trailer no problem. I'll throw in a few more pictures.

Its actually farther along then it may look. If anyone has done this before, you know it takes a long time and nothing every fits the first time (Carpet kits, gas tank, fuel lines, sway bars, polyurethane bushings, seat rails, etc.). What it has done is give a lot of experience with lots of upgrades that I can share with members in the future.
