Up-Fixin Der Porsche
Someone near me is selling volumes 1-11 of Up-Fixin Der Porsche for $100.
Is this something I should jump on? |

I always found these to be an interesting read but there may not be a lot of specific information related to your model and year. As a technical resource I would say not worth it.

They are a great read. The early issues cover 356's, the later volumes cover all years since they are a summary of Q&A from Pano over the years. They also have reprints of new car intro articles.
Before online forums I considered them essential. I learned a ton about my car and Porsches in general by reading them. Now a lot of the info is probably outdated, and they are not that easy to search. I have Volumes 5-11. Volume 5 is from 1977-1980 Pano, and Volume 11 is Pano articles from 1996-1998. Not sure what years Vol 1-4 cover, but I know Volume 1 goes back to the mid-1950's. Someday I plan to buy the early volumes to complete the set, but that's just me. I almost never use these now, but occasionally I see a question posted that I know was answered in one of these volumes, and I dig it out. Mark

If you haven't picked up a copy of Wayne's 101 Projects for your 911 they are great reads for working on your car. We also stock Bentley Service Manuals if you want a comprehensive index for your workshop.

For $100, it’s worth the investment.
I still refer to my st on occasion. Lots of good tips and tricks for classic Porsche owners. 👍
