Plugs fouling quickly
I have a 70 911 with a stock 2.2 and an MSD Street Fire. I recently had it serviced by a reputable Porsche mechanic and the engine is in good health. My problem is spark plugs fouling on every trip out, I don't do short trips, mixture could be a bit rich but not enough to cause fouling every trip. Has anyone used hotter plugs or iridium plugs with a similar set up? I didn't check what plug or heat range I have in before writing this which doesn't help but some suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Fouled plugs were a constant issue back in the day. The solution was simple. Keep the revs up.

Maybe BP6ES or Denso Iridium IW16 would help. Any idea what your jetting is?

If you have webers I use 55 idles and just replaced my plugs with Champion N11YC which I think are just a little hotter. This in my 72 with an 83 twin plug 3.0L.
You can control plug fouling with hotter plugs , give it a try it's a cheap fix, but it's telling you that you are possibly running rich.
