Longer Crown Wheel Bolts for LSD
Can anyone help solve a mystery....! Needing to put a Guard LSD into a G50 box and with the thicker flange of the LSD, longer crown wheel bolts are needed. Does anyone happen to know what the part number for the longer bolts is...?!
The thread length under the head for the longer bolts is approx 25mm / 1 inch vs 21mm for the shorter bolts. I thought the part number for the longer bolts was 928 332 276 03 but that number seems to belong to the shorter bolts unless the batch I got was incorrectly labelled! Any help would be appreciated!

Give Matt Monson (Guard Transmission) a call, he will know. I have lots of different ring gear bolts on the shelf, and a G50 on the bench right now. But without measuring your two flanges, I wouldn't know what to recommend. 928.332.276.03 is a M12 x 1.25 x 21.5 mm bolt as used in some of the type G50, 915, 923, and G31 transmissions. Note that some rings take a 1.25 mm pitch bolt, some take 1.5 mm.
