Sold my 911.
![]() Mixed emotions today as I finally sold my 72 911 Targa. I had been trying to sell since December but the market really was not friendly. The price dropped and dropped until I finally hit critical mass in the past couple weeks and started getting significant interest. I was recently laid off (from my first "real" job) which made the sale a lot more urgent. Today I handed away the keys. I can't help but think about how much fun I had working on and driving that car. I will probably own another 911 someday, maybe even with that mechanical fuel injection that I loved but drove me up the walls sometimes! On the up side I still have the 914. It was to be the 911's replacement from the start, but it was fun having 2 Porsches for a few months!

Interesting choice. I love my 911, but there is a spot in my heart for a teener.
