Scott, MS Road & Race are located in LA. Dont know alot about them, only seen his (Dave?) booth at a few swapmeets. I do have one of those covers and the fit leaves something to be desired. Just not made for a targa as much as a coupe. Ive seen them in that glossy catalog for $50-60. Worth the $ is questionable. I use it mainly to keep the cat from sleeping in the car as I never put my top on and she is parked in the garage. Well almost never, today was the first day in about 10 years that I have had my targa top on. Rain and all. Drove the Porsche to work today to finally fix my tach problem.

I have this exact piece. However it is made by "Budge" the makers of inexpensive car covers. I purchased it for a Honda, many years ago, and it's intended use was to prevent me from having to scrape ice off the windshield in the morning....looks like it's been repurposed. I think it cost me about $20 at the local auto accessories store.

As simple as it is..it does what it's supposed to do well.

Scott-
I don't know about the guys selling them, but I spent a lot of time researching this last year. I use mine quite a bit, particularly in the summer to protect the interior from the sun. I too have a Targa and not all interior covers fit Targa correctly. I ended up getting my interior cover from www.bigskycarcovers.com; I'll have to check again who made it - I think its Covercraft.

I do know that the 'other' PP in LA sells an interior cover for Targas that does NOT fit, though they say it does. The template that their supplier used doesn't work with the Targa - I tried two separate ones from PP and then gave up. Then found big sky and its worked great ever since - even saved me when I got caught in a freak June rain without my top and had to wait 2 hours until my wife came to deliver it. Held off a very steady rain.

hope this helps. If I remember, I'll try and find who the manufacturer is.
