How hard is it to replace the engine bonnet cable?

With my herculean strength, I snapped the cable while opening the engine bay. I'm assuming you just fish the thing backwards from the engine bay while cursing every time it gets caught, correct?

It is super easy.

Peak under the edge latch and you'll see a screw holding on to the release cable. Loosen, and use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the cable.
When you get your new cable (I think it comes with the handle), it can inserted through the door jam panel and be guided almost exactly to where it needs to be. Thread through the hole in latch and re-tighten the screw.

You can even remove the latch if you need to. Two 10mm bolts and you can fish it out in the direction of the engine.

Awesome, I was afraid it was going to be one of those "this can't be this simple, can it?" type jobs but it sounds like it is, in fact, quite simple.

Thank you!
