Separating Front Blower Fan From Housing
Need Help! I am replacing the front trunk fresh air blower fan and motor. I have the whole blower case assembly loose and out of the car. I have the new fan/motor assembly and they match up. How does the fan and motor separate from the housing? Does it just pry out? It will move slightly both clockwise and counterclockwise when turned. Any help will be appreciated.

You have to separate the housing to remove the fan and motor, by taking off the small rings that hold it together. Be careful because they can fly away never to be found again

Been there, done that. FYI, the OLD ones aren't very flexible. Unfortunately, they are a bit hard to come by.

Thanks for all your help. You are so right about those little clips sprouting wings. Even with the warning one did take off to parts unknown! I got it apart and back together. Left the missing one in the front. If I don't order the clips, I'll use the zip tie idea.
