Throttle butterfly sealant

I have my ITBs off to do some troubleshooting where I can't seem to maintain a good balance on all 6 cylinders. I sync them and then find them out of sync a couple trips later. it feels like maybe cyl 4 isn't firing at idle when its warm and there is another miss when driving with light throttle openings (1-3% throttle like in a neighborhood).

So i have on extra set of Triumph T595 throttles and notice that when held up to a bright light, i can't see any light around the butterflies. On the two sets that i've been running (left and right banks) both allow an amount of light to pass thru. I think i made a mistake by cleaning the throttles with some solvent at some point. The factory brushed on sealant isn't present any longer. warning to others not to clean your throttle bodies too well as you might suffer the same consequence.

The spare throttles I have came from a salvaged motorcycle and they actually do still have this visible sealant on them. I'd like to try to find this stuff and brush it on my other throttles to make them "seal" like they did before I cleaned them.

Anyone have any suggestions on what i can use for this? I've read "DAG 213" was something that GM used back in the day but finding it hasn't been easy.

First. Make sure your idle speed screws are backed off. Check

Throttle plates are typically held in the throttle shaft slot via a couple of screws. Loosen them, then gently move the throttle plate around until it conforms with the throttle shaft. If they're tight and you're tempted to tap the screwdriver with a hammer to loosen, place a backing block under the shaft so as to prevent bending it.

Retighten the throttle shaft screws. You might want to secure them with blue Loktite.

Got a pic of the throttle shaft/throttle plate?

Thanks for the tips sherwood. I had already tried adjusting the butterfly plate by "resetting" the two screws.

I was able to find the DAG213 here: https://pontiactripower.com/products/throttleblade-sealer-dag

I think my issue is a combination of
1. a bent sync bracket(the part that connects one cyl's throttle body to the next cyl's that also is part of the mechanism that you adjust to sync them together) and a large amount of leak around one butterfly
2. linkages that bind slightly when heat has set in
3. leaking butterflies (i cleaned off the original sealant with solvent and should've been more careful)

I'm going to have to wait a few days for the DAG213 to arrive and then I can put things back together and see if my issues are solved.
