				89 3.2 Brake Pads & Sensors?

I was thinking I would put in new pads front/rear and hook up the 4 new but from long ago sensors. Not so easy: - can't get a matching set of pads that will work with the old style sensors - some pads (matching sets) are available but need new style sensor and glue - not much info. out there on how/type of glue to use, someone mentioned $20/tube I starting to conclude...forget it. Just get Mintex pads without sensor slots and do something to get the light to go out. I'm open to ideas on other pad makes/models for street. Also, why isn't there an aftermarket front brake pad hardware kit showing up on Pelican? Thanks. -Henry

Hmm I'm searching for alternate options for front hardware kits. You are right, our Super Brake Kit only contains the genuine hardware | ||

If the old sensors are not worn through you can connect them and zip tie them out of the way. Or jump the terminals and call it a day.

Also, if you are not using the sensors you can buy pads for an SC, which are cheaper than the Carrera pads with the slot.

I looked in Bentley to get the wire colors. For some reason the connector for connecting the pad loop to wires going to the dash was sticking up very near the master cylinder. I was worried I would have to dig for it. I made a jumper to short the two wires going to the dash. Light now doesn't come on with the engine running. I removed the new sensors from each wheel location and taped up the chassis side and clipped them back in place. I'll tell the next owner what I did. I can post pictures if people want. Thanks everyone for the comments/help.
