just finished detailing my engine bay

I just finished making my RUF air box cover and detailing my engine bay. I made the air box cover from an existing cover and cut the snorkel off and converted it into the ruf shape snorkel. I want to backdate my heat next.

It looks nice. How is the cover secured? Any difference on the butt dyno?

BUMP, after nearly 7 years, I never seen this project before - very nice.

Is the airbox ABS plastic?

Seems like it would be difficult to find epoxies and fillers that are compatible to cobble such a project together.

A photo of the side connector (see below).

My air box cover was damaged and needed to be replaced so I decided to give the Achtung Kraft a go- it’s stunningly beautiful and precise. A fine addition if a bit pricey. It feels like there’s better airflow- I haven’t made any tests but given the larger surface area of the opening it seems logical. Fabspeed made similar pieces and claimed an increase in airflow 🤷*♂️

Showdown - Feel free to post a few photos. I love the few Achtung Kraft items I've purchased over the past year and would love to see some of their Air Box covers out in the wild...

I've got one of the Achtung Kraft as well and it is very high quality. I also recently did the heater backdate at the same time and it really makes a difference!
