Before I remove my rear seat cushion, I have a question
Going for the RS look with my original carpet. When I remove my rear seat cushions on my 1974 911 will there be carpet under the entire area or is there a gap without carpet. Will it look like this?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I do not believe there is carpet underneath the seats.
We carry AppBiz RS Style Carpet kits that feature carpeted rear seat shelves. Here's a good RS style carpet install thread. They are available in a plethora of colors and styles so feel free to call our Porsche specialists to get the exact kit you need. |

From the factory you should find the seat cushion glued to the painted metal of the floor pan. The jute/horse hair stuffing of the cushion will be stuck to the pan.

Thanks to you both. That is what I thought. Looks like I will keep the seat bottoms for now!
