Parking Brake Shoe Problems!
Hi all,
I'm putting my 79 911 back together and I noticed that the parking brake shoe set that I bought is the correct part number, but doesn't have any studs installed! Seems that the same part number was used right into the water cooled cars. Has anyone run into this problem before? I don't have the receipt to be able to return the parts, so looking for some thoughts on adding studs for the little butterfly spreaders. I've thought of using a nut and bolt and welding that in, but seeing if anyone has any sage advice? Many thanks!! Ryan |
