Watching Le Mans the movie.
#40 the little 914/6.....finished ahead of all the the other production cars.....I'm thinking 6th overall? Some drivers had a booty parade...
couple of French drivers. I guess they didn't surrender this time. You don't hear a lot of these guys.

1970 LeMans the factory 914 GT got 6th place, 1st in class. #40 is now owned by Marty and family at MSDS exhaust.
1971 24hrs at Daytona a 914 GT a Sunoco independant Canadian team won 7th place, 1st in class, this car sold last year for just shy of a million at auction. Driver Jacques Duval was a Quebec TV autosports personality for decades. His son is a member here. Last edited by Mark Henry; 04-24-2021 at 04:54 PM.. |

Well good for them. As a 914 fan .....was outta the loop.....go figure.
edit: went to dinner after I paused it. It had a lot of screen time. 7 shots at least, the bad boy 911 made McQueen stuff his hot rod into the rail.
