Does anyone sell an oil filter relocation kit?
I am looking to relocate the oil filter on a replica car with a 911 engine & oil tank. Does anyone make a block off plate for the oil tank with fittings for oil lines? I have done some searching but no luck so far.
Thanks, Joe in NH |

The 993's use an oil filter console in place of the engine mounted oil coolers. Google "993 oil filter console" and it'll come up.
For anything else, most people make one and install their AN fittings and add an inlet from JB Racing. |

You can place the filter anywhere it's going to be safe. Make sure there's slack in the hose so the engine can flex as needed. Replace the hose at the first sign of wear. A filter relocation kit is not going to harm your engine unless there is something seriously wrong with the kit.

I've not heard of relocating the filter from the stock tank, or a kit to do that. You might have to modify the filter console for fittings.
