Anyone know anything about this car? I beleive it is 912 thats about all I know.

Looks like Porsche wanted to compete with Landrover, with what appears to be a snorkel and brush guards stout enough to move the most stubborn cape buffalo or rhino.

I believe this was a 1967 911T rally car offered for sale in Australia recently. There was an old thread with a link to a ton of information about the car.

I've seen that pic before, in one Porsche publication or another. The caption said something like: "how NOT to build a Porsche Rally car" Evidently all the weight of the extras made it non competitive...
