Close-up picture of compressor "strut" location
There is a short metal strut that bolts to the compressor bracket to somewhere on the engine case near the fan shroud - but I can't quite visualize how it goes together. So far - I haven't been able to find a decent picture of this area.
I'm preparing to re-install AC in my rebuild and trying to determine if I need to remove the cam oil line/oil pressure sender to install the strap. Can someone snap a close-up of this area or point me to some pictures I may have missed? Thanks! Last edited by RogueEngineer; 04-29-2021 at 06:42 AM.. Reason: spelling is hard. |

Please confirm your year of car. I don't have a photo, but you will not have to remove cam oil lines or pressure sender for the 85+ Carrera AC / bracket.
