K-Jetronic Lambda understanding
Hi there,
First of all, sorry for the poor use of language, if something doesn't add up please tell me. Data on my car : Porsche 930 of year 1981, +400HP/565Nm @1bar boost Kokeln IC, Andial frequency valve, a bit bigger blower. Engine rebuild in 2017, approx 500-1000 km ago WUR, Fuel head are rebuild, new injectors, new genuine temp sensors/switches, new O2 sensor. I'm chasing an error in my K-Jet system and that brought my attention to, if I have the correct components installed. Since some of the parts comes from a 1986. The issue is that the engine starts and runs smooth without O2 sensor plugged, with the O2 plugged is runs, but definitely not as smooth as unplugged. When the 35 degree temp switch closes the timing valve starts to lean out to duty cycle in twenties or thirties. I have installed an Innovate double AFR broadband gauge to have readings from each cylinder row. Before plugging the O2 I adjusted the mixture to 14 ish. Setting the screw in the middle of rough lean and rough rich. When looking into the wiring, (I only have a diagram for 1986 with catalytic system, really need one for 1981 lambda cars), i discover that in Fuel enrichment relay there are 9 wires in my car and on the diagram it shows 11 in different positions. Anyone that can support with pictures, list of components no. or diagram ? When i bought the car in 2016 the O2 was unplugged and I understand that, because a previous owner tried to save the money and soldered a new sensor on the original wiring without insulation. With the result, all three wires was connected in some kind of corroded bundle. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1619680832.jpg |
