Rear sway bar mounts tearing off
my 77 911 rear sway bar mounts are tearing at the bend of the mount. Someone in the past had actually welded the sway bar fasteners onto the car along with the bolts. Idiots! I had to grind them down to get the bar out to pull the motor. Now its out I see that the mounts are tearing. Does anyone make an improvement mount or adapters to help these underdesigned mounts or will I have to self fabricate?

Are you near Seattle ???? If you are contact John Walker, he will fix you up. It you would rather do it yourself I think Pelican sells the new improved version as does Performance.
Weltmiester makes a rear bar that is bolted to a large U bolt that goes over the torque tube.
