1977 911s hesitates and stalls when hot

Hi Guys
I just picked up a new 77 911s. I road tripped the car home from L.A. to Colorado .

A few issues. Car hesitates when cold and hot 2-3k rpm

Car when it warms up stalls sometimes when the clutch is engaged at a stand still . I have to keep it revved to keep the motor running.

Any ideas.

Where to start?? But sounds like a fuel issue (lean).
You need to do a full check of the fuel system. Be prepared to spend a few weeks in there and hopefully not too many $s.
Search a few threads - there are plenty - on diagnosing CIS issues.

Take it to someone that knows what they're doing. CIS can be a pain to diagnose even when you know how the system works. You'll need a pressure gauge and knowledge on how to read the pressures.

Well I took the car down to my mechanics. Eisenbud’s best in Denver . He spent 30 minutes with the car.

Changed the air fuel mixture
Changed the timing

Discovered a spark plug wire that was not snapped completely over the spark plug cap. I think I will keep leaving it to the experts.

When they are running right, all the world's problems just fade away.
