Tool Kit Belts - Decode and Value
I would appreciate some help on breaking down the coding of these belts and approximate value.
I'm not looking to sell any at the moment. I have to add some to tool kits once I figure it all out, I will post the excess. Cheers, Louie ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm not an expert by any means, but I don't think the Gates or Conti belts are anything special.
The Phoenix belt may be worth the most. Try searching the B&S board and see what comes up, like this thread: 1973.5 / RS "Drawstring" Tool kit with two PHOENIX 1972 fan belts The Optibelts are later. I know I have one I bought from a Porsche dealer in the early 1990's. But I think they also have value depending on the year they were made. See this thread: WTB: 70's 911 Fan Belt 9.5X710 One of our members collects tool kits, and he also has a number of belts for sale in his eBay store, like this one: Mark
