Passenger seat rail stopper

Hi everyone,

I am in need of a help/guidance. My passenger seat is not sliding all the way backwards.
Cannot reach to the front bolts.
It slides forward ok.

Is there a stopper somewhere that i can adjust? I checked the lever and latch is fully disengaging so i know it is not that, i also cannot see any obstacles "visually" when i look at the rail and the passage.

Any tips, tricks or guidance is highly appreciated

Thanks,
Z

Have you tried sliding it with the rear pair of bolts removed?

You didn’t specify the year of your car or seats. Some years of Recaro seats had a safety feature to prevent the seats sliding too far in an accident. This safety device is riveted to the seat rail and the rivet can fail over time causing the device to engage which will halt the seat from sliding far enough to allow access to the seat bolts. A few threads on here about the issue as well as possible solutions.

I will see how long this will keep working but i shall see
