KW v3 adjustable dampers, Camber issue
Last week I installed the KW V3 adjustable dampers on my 87 911. It is the standard version for torsion bars, and not the version with raised spindles or coilovers. When I now do a wheel alignment I have trouble getting the right camber setting, it is too negative. -1.3 degree is the closest I get. It seems to me that the angle of the spindle relative to the damper/strut is different than on the original Boge strut. Without touching the hardpoints I had -0.5 degree with the Boge. Have anybody else obseved the same? The ride height is the same as before. KW do not mention this in the documentation.

You can never get too negative camber! You need more negative than -0.5, and -1.3 is still not enough to get a sharp turn in and get rid of the understeer. I have -3.8 degrees (both front and rear) with 20mm longer control arms and raised spindles.
