Early Steering Racks ID- ZF Quick Rack
So I have these two steering racks. The cleaner one is in very good shape and has 2.8 turns lock to lock, thus making me think it is one of the more rare ZF quick ratio racks. It has a spot for a steering damper as well.
The second rack, I'm not sure of. It does not have a spot for a steering damper. I think it is just a run of the mill rack, and looks to be dated 68. Any input from those in the know? Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Anybody have input?
What should the ratio be on a regular early rack?

You might try shooting Fred Appgar a PM
Pretty sure he’ll have your answer.
