Run for a short time and died
Hello
My 79 sc has been sitting in a garage for some time. Battery was dried out. I recharged the battery. Car started right up. After about 5 mins . Engine stopped. I turned the ignition switch, no power to the car. All electrical system shut down. Any idea ? Thank you |
Is your battery flat again?

check your connection you just put on your battery..you could have bad ground or even those red wires on plus-side loose

After a storage battery goes dry it most likely wont hold a charge.

I don't think that green wire should be attached.
Unless someone used green because they didn't have another color. I'd still follow it and see where it goes. |

what he means is..the green wire is not an original part of the el.harness but in your case you should trace it what is it powering....most likely radio...? take picture where it leads and we will tell you ..
