Is it possible to powder coat a polished petal look on fuchs?

I'm asking is it possible to tape off the polished front part of the fuchs and apply a powder coat and get a solid looking line? Or is a liquid paint spray the only way to achieve this look (with some taped lines)?

Look in the archives for applying black paint to the background.

Can mask and spray or submerge wheel into paint bucket up to the desired paint edge (or equivalent).

thanks Sherwood but not my question--is it possible to do this with powdercoating? If not yes I will be painting with a traditional spray.

The "RSR" finish is being done with Cerakote by a few forum members here. I personally went the powder coat everything black and submerge in water as Sherwood mentioned above

My experience with powdercoating says it would be very difficult if possible.

There are various opinions on powder coating wheels or anything of a structural nature. The thought is that incipient cracks can be masked by the thickness of the powder coat, typically .003". Powder can be applied thicker as well.

Silver Cerakote sprayed over a masked black-painted b.g.

These are powder coated. But certainly not polished looking.

Here is my satin black powder coated rim with Eastwood 2k rattle can silver. This has been left outside for about 12 months and has held up extremely well. This was a junk rim and an experiment. I will be moving forward and doing this to my other 4 rims for my car.
