Confirm Sport Cat Pipe Identity
A good friend of mine was kind enough to give me this sport cat pipe for free being that he no longer owned any 911's that it would fit. Came off an 80's era targa. Has a cell structure in the bulge. Can anyone here confirm the manufacturer? It is believed to be Fabspeed.
BTW, saving 11 pounds over the stock cat setup including the hardware and heat shield. |

Hmmm that does look very similar to the FabSpeed Sport Cat Pipe, except the current Fabspeed pipe looks to have a slightly larger catalytic converter section. Might be an update they did over the years.

Can confirm that it's the older gen Fabspeed Sport Cat Pipe. There is a nameplate that is lightly tack welded on where the two pipes meet - it tends to come off. I have one on my '87 coupe
