Removal Door Opening Trim Piece
I have an '87 Targa and need to remove the trim piece behind the door opening to glue the loose vinyl back down. I removed the upper horizontal trim piece below the rear window but that didn't help. It appears to still be solidly fixed to the door opening. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

IIRC from my '87 targa, the metal piece the vinyl is glued to is not removable. BUT, remove the rear interior quarter panel trim behind it and you will have enough space to lay down fabric glue, roll the vinyl over and cure at least overnight. Use a bunch of binder clips available from any office supply store, to hold the vinyl in place.
