I had the same issue- here’s my fix: I split the harness and ran half of the wires in the crotch of the T and half between the T and outer wall of the tub. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...15af3b6a8b.jpg

I dont remember having to move any wires.
Here is a video I took last year. Also, my hose gets a little crushed on the driver's side as well. The SCEET hose holds up better, but also less forgiving. Vid https://youtu.be/5AOfSk0faQo |
I spent the better part of an hour trying to fit the hose with the wiring harness in place and came to the conclusion they for my car it just wasn’t going to work. Moving some of the wires made it all of 10 mins before everything was hooked up.
There was also no way to not somewhat crush the hose with the gas shocks installed and I didn’t want to go with a hood prop. That hose is just hot air from the engine bay so I wasn’t too concerned about deforming the hose. If it were air out from the blower they would be a different story but luckily for me none of the output hoses got deformed. |
Here is a picture how I re-arranged the wiring harness in my SC
