machine shop in NYC(tri-state) area
Could you tell me any recommended machine shop(s) in Northern NJ, Southern NY state, or Western CT?

Try Verdon Tool in northen NJ (forgot the town) They are familiar with machining Porsche components. Also Atlantic enterprises, also in NJ. There is a guy on Long Island, Dal Tech think its in smithtown

Call Bodymotion in Ocean Township and see if they can recommend someone. They are an excellent Indy Porsche shop. The owner is very active in the local club (Mike Bavaro).

Bodymotion used to use Verdon. Don't know if they still do, but don't send parts to Bodymotion for rebuild/machining.

I agree they are not a machine shop. Who do They use now?
Depending on what you want done and the size of the component why limit yourself to the tri-state area.

I need to have an innor diameter step-bore in my case. I'm not limiting myself to the tri-stat ONLY. Wayne recommends www.competitioneng.com . But shouldn't be some in this area? And isn't it easier to talk and to carry a case to a shop than to phone and to ship?
