oddball crankshaft?

aloha, i just pulled an 1974 911 2.7 normal engine down. the rod journals are just under 52mm? according to waynes book that's the rod journal size for an sc 3.0. both engines sizes share a 70.4mm stroke. this crank has 6 bolt flywheel flange and i thought sc cranks were 8 bolt. what's going on? anybody have a clue? thanks in advance for any help solving this mystery. cheers, geoff

51.971 to 51.990. 2.4, 2.7, carrera 3.0. Basically a stock crank. Got an engine type number, like 911/xx?
