Pic request - inside shell
 

Is there a good place to find pictures of what the early air cooled 911s look like without the interior in them? I'm trying to find pics of the shell from every angle. For example, what does the interior rear quarter look like without the coverings (where the seatbelts attach)? What about the footwell? The (speaker tray? parcel tray?) area above the engine sans speakers/foam/pad/etc?

Heard of google?

I've not had much look searching with Google.

Look up any of the early 911 builds here, or 911 RSR builds. I did a quick search and saw a few threads that were down to bare tubs. Without knowing exactly what you want to see, I'd suggest doing the same.

When you say early you should be a little more specific. 65-68, 69-71, 72-73, 74-84, 85-88/9. I have the interior out of my '71, PM me your email and I'll send you some pics if that's the group you're lookin' for.

Damn, I didn't think about that. I'm looking for a 74-84. Pics of the whole dad-gum interior sans coverings. Sunroof, rear quarters, footwell, everything. Ideally without the nasty tar, glue, and jute strands everywhere.

My search-fu has been seriously lacking. There's plenty of people putting nice new interiors on their cars, but not a lot of them seem to show what it's like before you install the carpet. The ones that do seem to be the full-on rebuild guys, that spray the interior in new paint. I've gotten a few photos out of them, but some areas (rear quarter in particular) seem to be impossible.
