Anyone familiar with Continental VDO audio
Checking if anyone knows about this unit as far as sound quality. It’s vintage looking with the dual knobs and amber lighting. Would go in my ‘78 SC.

I've got one without a CD player and it does alright. Sound quality is passable considering you're powering speakers using the head unit versus an actual amplifier. There are no preamp RCAs to add an amp later, so you'd have to do a line-level converter for an amp. Otherwise, it works and looks good in the dash, and the Bluetooth is quick to pick up my phone.

I am unsure about this model, I have the version without the CD player. Things that I did not realize before I bought it: on my model the USB connection is not powered so it does not charge the device while it is connected. There was not a fader control and sound controls were very minimal. All could have just been the model I bought.
