Cleaning my intake exterior?

I am trying to clean the oxidation off the exterior on my engine/intake. Ideas? Chemicals? I don't want to remove the engine at this time to do this. photo attached.

I think you're going to have a hard time achieving a uniform finish without disassembly. Dry ice blasting?

Not alot you can do with the intake mounted. I'd take it off and have it vapor blasted.

Interesting product, never used it before.

ACF-50 kills any corrosion currently in progress with just one application.

ACF-50 is non-flammable, non-carcinogenic, and virtually non-toxic.

ACF-50 can be safely applied to electronics such as radios, timers, test equipment, antenna connections, computers, etc.

ACF-50 can be safely applied to electrical components such as alternators, starters, magnetos, generators, distributors, carburators, wiring, switches, rheostats, compressors, battery terminals, light bulb sockets, electrical connectors, circuit breakers, ignition systems, wire harnesses, etc.

ACF-50 provides excellent low-shear lubrication to moving parts and cables.
Could one use this on their cooling fan assembly?

I have been using it on vanagon, porsche.
Since i have been in sticky northwest summers and winters and been alarmed by corrosion i never encountered in Southern Cal. They use it on mag-alu on landing gear in all kinds of envoironments

It keeps that pesky white oxidizaton from occuring on my fan, spray it every 6 months
Not sticky, but sticks. What WD 40 should be.

Thanks for the responses. If I pull it what would be the best way to treat it and finish it? I see these cars at shows and there engine and intake look like they have never been on the road.

I used a plastic tumbling media and then cleared them with Kylon.
