Tire Shop Recommendations - Silicon Valley CA

Hello again Pelicans,
I'd like to get tire shop recommendations to get a new set of tires for my 89 911.
My main concern is not getting the wheels dinged up inside or out. E.g. are the protective pads installed on the changing machine?
I'll be carrying in the wheels.
In the past I've used Tires Unlimited on Stevens Creek and Wheel Works on Prospect Rd.
If you can give a contact name that would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Henry

Custom Alignment is the best place for tire mounting in the SF Bay Area.
Located in Mountain View. Closed on Fridays. You can have Tire Rack deliver your tires to the shop.
They also are very familiar with Porsche suspension and braking systems. I’ve had my cars lowered and corner balanced as well as adjustable trailing arms installed. They work closely with Elephant Racing. 650-961-5311. Allen is the counter guy that usually answers the phone. Drop my name. He knows me well.
They are right next door to Modderman, a great Porsche only repair shop. Check them out when you bring in your rims. Dave Modderman is a great guy as are his mechanics. Nice to be able to get most everything done at the same location.

Hi Tony V!

Sending you an e-mail.

Here are some great shops that may also have tire machines and careful techs or know of great places to get 'em done:

RMG in Sunnyvale
JWE in Campbell
Sportech in Campbell
Don Wise's Autowerks in Campbell
Modderman in Mountain View likely uses his neighbor Joe Silva's place mentioned by Tony V.
Tony Heyer in Mountain View
