loosing some weight
I am interested in removing the rear seats and carpeting and replacing with the thin Ozite style carpet only found in either the RS or the Club Sport model. Can this be done without destroying what I have and where can I locate the replacement carpeting? Am I insane for doing this, any idea how many lbs I can save?

At least 30 lbs. More if you toss out the undercoating and sound padding. Is this for a race car?
The taillights are about 10 lbs -- very heavy. Can use R type. Toss the steel banana arms (use later Al type). Do a search for other ideas & see Calzia's page at the 911S site. |
