Name that leak!

I'm getting a few annoying oil drops. Looks like its under thr 2 senders? Circled in red is the oil.

warning.. if you try to replace that oil pressure sender remove the block from the case FIRST. Then remove the sender from the block. A few stories of guys breaking their case trying to twist sender off.

rule of thumb with leaks, start with the highest point and move down so sender, cam oil line, temp sender and oil pressure sender are all good places to start

That one leak dripping from the carrier bracket looks like maybe seal behind the pulley. The cam boxes dry where they bolt to case?

on the engine case is most likely the alu. seal behind the oil pressure sending unit--remove the cam.oil line and the bolt for the O.P.U. replace the alu seal .The one on front very possibly the inter.shaft gasket.Do you have any marking on the bottom of the rear decklid if yes it the the front pulley seal if not it is the gasket. But if you go there do them both.

Decklid and cam covers look clean, I wonder why there's oil under pulley cover there. I don't want to change pulley seal just yet, the sender one is first.

Good points all! I am going to drive for a little bit as well. I suspect it was overfilled.

Off topic - think your sump plate should be rotated, such that the drain plug is at 9 o’clock when looking up at it from the rear.

Good call Jason, didn't even notice! Next oil change.

I will clean and wrap areas with tissue paper and see where leak is.

So here is leak and proof. Is this the oil sender? Which gauge does it report to? My 'Oel' gauge doesn't work, just realized right now.
