Corner balance first, then align.

You did disconnect the sway bars when balancing, yes?

yes, i did disconnect the sways. I'm going to try to find some replacement scales for my ruggles setup, maybe even some of those inexpensive digital ones from ......wal-mart. Can't be worse than what I have now, got about a 20lb split, using a 4:1 could be as much as 80lbs.
Cancelled my alignment check for tomorrow after all the arguing I did to get them to do it at N/C. I want to make sure my corner balance is at least close before doing that. Still.....I can't believe this is the problem.
Any suggestions on scales, digital, analog, anyone know of their accuracy. The ruggles ones look like they're really inexpensive ones, I think all the cost of the Ruggles setup is in the arms.

Some of us use the Deca corner balance tool. Chuck Moreland has a nice picture of it (about $150). It pays for itself if you do your own balancing. However, it might be cheaper to get the Ruggle scales up to speed.
