Inside Door Panel
The plastic dust/rain shields are missing from the inside of my door trims (1983 SC) ans i need to repalce them. I'll just cut up some plastic sheeting, but does the bottom part tuck into the door so any rain runs into the door and out the drain or does it just attach all the way around (ie on the outside of the door)?
Also there is a hole at the bottom of the door (I think it is actually to inspect the window track) which allows water to leak onto the sill and into the car. Should this have a bung/cover over it? |

On my car (85) the plastic covers the outside of the door completely, presumeably to keep the water from entering the car. I have no covers on the holes inside at the bottom of the door if I remember correctly. Water leaking onto the sill will drain outside of the car.

Thks, I guess the plastic is cut out to go around the speaker shield?
