Paint Matching in the Bay Area

I'm looking for recommendations for a shop to repair my 911 engine lid and match the existing color of the car.
Existing paint was from mid '80s.Any comments are appreciated, Thanks.

Wonder if that’s a current recommendation. Have no personal experience, with Dells but lately I’ve heard things have gone south there. German Auto Body, near the Coleman Costco, is where Fremont Porsche sent me and they did spectacular job matching a metallic silver paint on an 03 Boxster. I’d do some research on Dells before committing

Good note re. Dell, I haven't heard that but could be something to it. German Auto Body is also mentioned by my mechanic.... maybe that is a better bet.

If you're willing to drive a bit further out, try Matthews Carlsen, look for Paul.

Thanks for the German Auto Body and Mathews Carlsen contacts. I'll followup -

Anyone have experience with Anderson Behl Body Shop?

I've had work done at both Matthews Carlsen and German Auto Body and I think GAB is superior.

Yeaman Autobody.

Palo Alto.

Scott Yeaman is a long term PCA and BMWCCA member.

My wife and I have known him for 25+ years and I have raced against him.

Only body shop owner I know with a Stanford degree.

I have been a customer and have sent him many, many customers.

Including some recent friends with Porsches.

I was there introducing him to a pcar friend about a month ago.

He knows his Porsches.

If you'd like more perspective, feel free to PM.
