which wheel do you like better?
I found the Silver Portotipo last year after alot of searching and while I love the look, it felt kind of small and blocked some of the guages from my line of sight. I am 6' tall.
I then found this wheel which is also a momo but I am not sure what type or its age. It is the same size as the factory wheel. It is however , not as thick as the Prototipo. I can sell the prototipo and place that $$ towards my windshield or ride height as it was considerable more expensive that this other wheel. Any opinions welcome!

I really like the silver Prototipo. If you choose to get the one in the lower pic, let me know.

I like the top wheel for it's looks but I totally understand with the blocking the line of sight. I have a nardi wheel in my car and since it's fairly thin it doesn't black any of my guages.

The larger wheel, I believe is an early Ferrari wheel. Keep that on the wall as art, run the Tipo.

Look on the back of that wheel, it should have a date stamped in the back of the lower spoke.

When your driving your car, which wheel do you like better? It really shouldn't really matter what wheel we think looks better if one of them functions better for you then the other. Keep the one that works best for you.

Nice 911T!
I like the larger wheel because I am frustated when I can not see the instruments. On a long trip it gets to me if I can't see my cruise control speed and condition of my motor easily. Keep it between the ditches and GB! Benson

Prototipo has a nice classic touch. It was used in several racing Porsches. The second st.wheel is a Ferrari type. Not my cup of tea in a 911.

I agree with MMarsh, go with what feels best. My Momo Monte Carlo blocks some parts of the guages so I rotated them to get the view I needed. I figured anything over 90 mph and I'm in trouble with the law anyway so I left that part blocked.

Obviously a personal choice. I like the look of the second wheel. However, I like the stock 4 spoke with a fresh restored leather covering the best.

There is no date on the wheel , just numbers. Hmm Ferrari wheel in a Porsche does not sound good.

Your Nardi is probably slightly larger than the Momo standard size (and slightly smaller than the factory size). They are about right, IMO.

Reg, just rotate the gauges you can't see.

If you like the smaller wheel just do what a lot of folks including me do. Just turn your speedo counterclockwise to see the dial where you need to. It is a little funny at first but now I am totally used to it
