Oil spewing!
I have a 73 that has been sitting for a few weeks. Just changed the exhaust today. Started it and oil spewing from the breather. Whats happening?

Thanks, pmax. Dumped a qt and seems good. I also have a leak draining out the bottom where the trans mats to the motor. Rear main seal ? will overfill create this?

Overfilling can cause old (and even new) seals to fail and to start squirting oil, yes.

Oh boy......Looks like a winter project. May as well re seal the leaky input shaft on the trans while were there!
