74 valeo regulator testing
My gen light came on constantly yesterday. I read an old thread about testing
the external regulator by checking voltage at the reg. D+ input and the D- output. Doing this I found the blue D+ wire@ 14.5 volts and the black D- wire @5.6 volts. Seems like I need a new regulator. This Valeo replaced the original Marchal about 3.5 k miles ago. what could be causing the failure? Thanks all, John. 74 2.7 |
