Others have brought up this issue and I myself outlined this issue a few years back in 2018 in my build thread.

For that build, I finally sourced a good used set. I bought new bows from Porsche - they were way off. I bought a used set and seller scammed me. Sent me only 3 bows (claimed the lady at the PO had a vendetta against him and removed stuff from the package!) the three bows he sent were from a rollover or something, they were twisted bent and rusty. Finally the 3rd set from an original car fit perfect.

I learned my lesson, on my current project I picked up another good used set here. Some people claim the Porsche bows are designed to be trimmed. It makes no sense that this would be the case.
