Broken temp sensor conduit

I was taking apart the center console on an '87 coupe and sadly broke that temp sensor conduit line that goes through the plastic part of it. How screwed am I? Is this difficult to fix?

The car has a removed AC though.

Is it the capillary tube for AC thermostat?
If it is and no ac then no harm no foul.
If it is the wires going to the autoheat sensor that is by the rear view mirror then it should be fixed. AC blower motor and evap is in smugglers box and could be removed for lightness!

If you take a look at the center console there's 2 round dials in the middle that say Climate Control. This is a long metal line connected to the right switch. I think to get it out the plastic part of the console needs to be modified.

P.S. Removing all the remaining AC part is definitely on my list of things to do!

I have a few good used ones. Not easily fixable.
